  • 1 cup - Sweet corn / Frozen corn
  • 1/4 cup - Paneer, cubed (Optional)
  • 1 tsp - Italian seasoning / Pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup - Basmati rice
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • 2 - Green Chillies
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Sweet corn Rice - No onion NoGarlic recipe

  • Soak rice in 1 cup of water for 20 mins and pressure cook it by adding salt and 1 tsp of oil.
  • Let it cool.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the paneer cubes (if using) until golden brown.
  • Thaw the frozen corn.
  • If using fresh ones pressure cook this separately and remove the corn kernels.
  • Add oil in a pan and throw in the slit green chillies.
  • Add the corn kernels and the paneer cubes and saute for few minutes.
  • Add the Italian seasoning and garam masala and salt to taste.
  • Mix well.
  • Now add the cooked rice and mix gently without breaking the rice.
  • Serve with any raitha of your choice.
