Ingredients

  • 1 litre - Milk
  • 100g - Sweet Potato
  • 250g - Sugar
  • 50g - Cashew nut
  • 50g - Almond
  • 25g - Butter or Ghee
  • 4 - Cardamom
  • 1 pinch -saffron
  • How to Make Sweet Potato Kheer:

    1. Heat oil, fry cashewnuts and almond.
    2. Boil the sweet potatoes and peel the skin. Mash the boiled potatoes.
    3. Boil the milk, add sugar and potatoes.
    4. Add the fried nuts and boil for some more time until the kheer thickens.
    5. Serve along with cardamom powder and 1 pinch of saffron.
    6. Serve hot or cold as desired.
