  • 1 litre - milk
  • 100g - sweet potato
  • 250g - sugar
  • 50g - cashew nut
  • 50g - almond
  • 25g - butter or ghee
  • 4 - cardamom
  • 1 pinch -saffron

How to Make Sweet Potato Kheer

  • Heat oil, fry cashewnuts and almond.
  • Boil the sweet potatoes and peel the skin. Mash the boiled potatoes.
  • Boil the milk, add sugar and potatoes.
  • Add the fried nuts and boil for some more time until the kheer thickens.
  • Serve along with cardamom powder and 1 pinch of saffron.
  • Serve hot or cold as desired.
