  • 1 - large sweet potato, peeled and chopped
  • About 2 cups - whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp - brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - cardamom powder
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Sweet Potato Roti

  • Cook the sweet potatoes in some water until soft. Grind it with a food processor until mushy.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and make into a soft pliable dough.
  • Divide into small balls.
  • Press it down with the palm of your hands and roll until it is thin and flat.
  • Cook it with a little butter (or oil for less calories) until brown.
  • Turn the other side and cook likewise.
  • Serve hot.
