  • 1 small Pumpkin
  • 5 Green chillies
  • 1/2 tbsp Channa dal
  • 1/2 tbsp moong dal
  • 1/2 tbsp Jeera
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 5 Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tbsp Asafoetida
  • 2 tbsp Jaggery
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Sweet Pumpkin Curry:

    1. Peel the pumpkin and cut into medium-sized square pieces. Boil them with salt and drain them.
    2. Heat the pan and add oil.
    3. In the oil, add channa dal, moong dal and jeera. Allow them to fry for 1 minute.
    4. Put the green chillies, curry leaves and fry 1 minute.
    5. Add mustard and let them splutter.
    6. In the end, add the asafoetida and fry till it smells.
    7. Now, put the boiled pumpkin pieces and fry for 10 mins.
    8. If necessary, put the lid on the pan.
    9. Add salt to it and fry for 5 mins. Remove the lid now.
    10. Now, add jaggery to it and fry for 5 mins or till everything is cooked.
    11. Serve this curry with hot rice.
