  • raw Rice - 2 cup
  • grated Pumpkin - 1 cup
  • grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • powdered Jaggery - 1/5 cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/5 tsp
  • curds - 1/5 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1/5 tsp
  • oil to cook dosas
  • Ghee or oil to cook dosa
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Sweet Pumpkin Dosa:

    1. Soak rice in water for 2-3 hours.
    2. Drain and grind till smooth using little water (the batter will become thinner when jaggery and curd is added)
    3. Add coconut, pumpkin, jaggery, salt and curd and grind till smooth.
    4. Add water if needed to make the consistency like usual dosa batter.
    5. Add turmeric and cardamom powder.
    6. Heat a non-stick tawa.
    7. Pour a ladle of batter and spread to medium thickness.
    8. Pour some oil or ghee on top.
    9. When under side is cooked turn the dosa over, add little more oil or ghee and cook the other side.
    10. Serve with honey.
