Ingredients

  • For puri :
  • Wheat flour - 2 cups
  • For sweet syrup :
  • 1 cup - coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup - sugar/jaggery
  • 1/4 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp - ghee

How to Make Sweet Puri

  • To make puri: Mix the flour with milk, a pinch of salt and make a dough.
  • Then make small balls of the dough and flatten it into small rounds.
  • Deep-fry in oil till it puffs up.
  • To make sweet syrup:
  • Add coconut milk, cardamom powder, sugar/jaggery to a heated pan and stir well till it the sugar/jaggery is dissolved.
  • Add ghee for flavour.
  • To serve:
  • Dip the fried puris in sweet syrup and serve.
