Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - Maida
  • 1 - big Banana (ripe)
  • 1/4 tsp - fennel/saunf
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin/jeera - 1/4
  • salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup - Jaggery (grated)
  • 1/4 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Sweet Puri with Jaggery

  • In a bowl mix all the flours, banana, jaggery, salt, jeera, saunf, cardamom powder and knead into a dough.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Once hot reduce the flame.
  • Roll the dough into puris and deep fry.
  • Drain puris on absorbent paper and serve.
