Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp - grated fresh Coconut
  • 3 Cloves
  • 3 sticks of Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp - flour (maida)
  • 1 cup - peas, boiled
  • 2 potatoes, boiled, peeled, cubed
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 3 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp - Sugar
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Sweet vegetable soup

  • Heat 1 tsp of oil.
  • Gently fry cloves, cinnamon and coconut till golden. Remove. Set aside.
  • Roast the flour in the same pan.
  • Grind both with enough water to make a thick paste. Set aside.
  • Heat remaining oil.
  • Add onion and green chillies.
  • Fry till golden.
  • Add peas, potatoes, sugar, salt and tomatoes.
  • Stir till tomatoes are soft.
  • Add liquidized paste and enough water to make a thick gravy.
  • Allow it to simmer and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve with bread.
