Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup - all - purpose flour
  • 1 cup - chopped, peeled tart Apple
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Walnuts
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp - salt
  • How to Make Swiss Apple Pie:

    1. In a bowl, combine the egg, sugar and vanilla.
    2. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir onto egg mixture just until moistened.
    3. Fold in apples and walnuts.
    4. Transfer to a greased 9-inch pie plate.
    5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
    6. Cool on a wire rack.
