Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup - Bulgur Wheat
  • 1/2 cup - fresh mint, chopped
  • 1.5 cups - fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 - large tomato, diced
  • 1 - medium sized cucumber, peeled, deseeded and diced
  • 2/3 cup - green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup - extra virgin Olive oil
  • 1/3 cup - fresh Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch - salt
  • How to Make Tabouleh - Middle Eastern Salad:

    1. Soak bulgur wheat in cold water for 2 hours.
    2. Drain and squeeze out any excess water.
    3. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Cover and chill.
    4. Serve tabouleh mounded on a bed of lettuce, lemon wedges and warm pita bread.
