How to Make Tamarind date chutney

  • In a pan, take all the main 4 ingredients- tamarind, dates, jaggery, red chilly. Add water. Keep the pan to boil for about 5-7 mins.
  • when the tamarind and dates become soft, and all the jaggery is melted, switch off the gas.
  • Let the chutney ingredients cool. Grind the entire ingredients of the pan with ginger powder, cumin seed powder and black salt.
  • Add some more water if required. Strain the chutney through a strainer.
  • Chutney is ready.
