Ingredients

  • 2 - French beans
  • 2 - Carrots (sliced) lengthwise
  • 1 packet - peas (frozen will do)
  • 2 - Potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 tsp -salt
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 pinch - Turmeric powder
  • For the paste:
  • 1 cup - shredded Coconut
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1 bunch - Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - Poppy Seeds (khus-khus)
  • 1 tsp -ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • Water
  • How to Make Tamilian Kurma:

    1. Take oil in a kadai. Add jeera. And then add all the vegetables and let it boil. Add turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder.
    2. Add the ground ingredients and cook for about 15 minutes. Add water if desired.
    3. Serve hot with rice.
