Ingredients

  • 2 - French beans
  • 2 - carrots (sliced) lengthwise
  • 1 packet - peas (frozen will do)
  • 2 - potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 tsp -salt
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 pinch - turmeric powder
  • For the paste:
  • 1 cup - shredded coconut
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1 bunch - coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - poppy seeds (khus-khus)
  • 1 tsp -ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • Water

How to Make Tamilian Kurma

  • Take oil in a kadai. Add jeera. And then add all the vegetables and let it boil. Add turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder.
  • Add the ground ingredients and cook for about 15 minutes. Add water if desired.
  • Serve hot with rice.
