Ingredients

  • Rava - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Coriander - 3 sprigs
  • Mustard -1/4 tsp
  • Cumin - 1/4 tsp
  • Channa dal - 1 tsp
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Eno Lemon fruit salt 1/4 - tsp
  • Baking powder - a pinch
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Tamilian style Rawa Idli

  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, jeera and channa dal.
  • To this add chillies and chopped coriander.
  • Fry a little, add rava and fry till it is roasted. Let it cool.
  • Then add the eno salt, baking powder and salt.
  • Mix equal portions of the rava mixture and curd, and steam the idlis immediately
