Tandoori Chicken without oven is an easy recipe to cook the famous tandoori chicken without the use of oven. So if you do not have oven but an appetite for tandoori chicken then this recipe is a dream come true for you.

All the non-vegetarian lovers can gear up as you can learn how to make this recipe at home with our full recipe tutorial. The recipe involves baking of chicken pieces so boneless chicken breast will be best for it. Plain yoghurt is mixed with tandoori masala. Make sure to coat it well over the chicken pieces. Refrigerate it for 24 hours after which you can cook the chicken until done.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz - Plain Yoghurt
  • 1-2 tbsp - Tandoori Masala
  • 4 halves - Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 tsp - Minced Garlic
  • How to Make Tandoori Chicken (Without Oven):

    1. Mix the plain yogurt with 1-2 tbsps tandoori masala. Add minced garlic if you like.
    2. Put the mixture in a 1-quart baking dish (not metal).
    3. Take four halves of boneless skinless chicken breast and cut each half into three pieces.
    4. Coat the chicken pieces in the yogurt mixture.
    5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.
    6. To cook the chicken:
    7. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminium foil and spray it with no-stick spray or oil.
    8. Brush a pan with a little oil and place the marinated chicken pieces on it.
    9. Cover and cook the chicken on one side for 8-10 minutes on low flame.
    10. After one side is cooked, turn the chicken pieces to the other side and cook for another 8-10 minutes.
    11. Remove from flame when chicken is tender and done.
