Ingredients

  • All purpose flour - 2 cups
  • Semolina - 1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • Instant dry yeast - 1 tsp
  • Soda bicarbonate - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Water as per need

How to Make Tandoori Naan

  • Sieve the flour with soda and salt.
  • Now add 2 tsp warm water into the dry yeast and set aside.
  • Add semolina and oil into the flour and mix well to form crumbs.
  • Now add water, a little at a time, to make a soft dough.
  • If dough sticks to hand too much, then apply a little bit of oil on your hand and then punch into dough.
  • If u want to make the naan same day, then keep the dough in a pre-heated oven at 150 degrees C for 7-8 hours.
  • Otherwise keep it in a warm place for two days, properly covered with a cloth.
  • To make naan, set the oven at broil and roll oval shapes out of the dough.
  • Then place it into oven and flip it after 1 minute.
  • After taking it, out apply some butter on them.
  • And they are ready to eat.
