  • 1/2 kg - tangra fish
  • 1 small bunch - coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • Turmeric - 1tsp
  • 100 g - mustard oil
  • To grind:
  • 1 - onion, large
  • 1 - whole garlic
  • 6 - red chillies

How to Make Tangra Macher Sukno Jhol

  • Cut fish, clean and marinate with salt, turmeric, ground paste for sometime with one tbsp of oil.
  • Heat 25 ml oil in a kadai and put the marinated fish.
  • Saute the fish and keep it on slow flame.
  • When the oil starts separating pour 1/2 cup hot water and boil.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Serve.
