Ingredients

  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Capsicum - 4, medium size chopped
  • Onion - 2, medium size chopped
  • To powder
  • Coriander - 4 tbsp
  • Channa dal - 3 tbsp
  • Urad Dal - 3 tbsp spoon
  • Chira - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut - a little
  • Tamarind - a little
  • Oil - required

How to Make Tangy Capsicum Rice

  • Soak rice for 5 mins and drain.
  • Fry the rice in oil in a pressure cooker, add salt, water and cook.
  • Take a pan add little oil, splutter mustard, urad dal , peanuts and curry leaves
  • After that add onion, fry till light brown, add turmeric powder and capsicum cook for 10 mins.
  • Reduce the flame and add salt and ground powder, a little to the vegetable and remaining powder to the rice.
  • Mix well serve.
