Ingredients

  • Chicken (boneless thigh) - 500 g
  • Onion, big, chopped - 1
  • Green chilli chopped - 4
  • Ginger, minced - 1/2 inch piece
  • Tomato, chopped - 1 medium
  • Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup or 2 tbsp - Coconut powder
  • Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 piece
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • How to Make Tangy Chicken Delight in Coconut Milk:

    1. Dry fry pepper, fennel seed, cinnamon and powder and keep it aside. Heat the oil in a kadai add onion, green chillies and ginger and fry till transparent. Add tomato and fry for 5 mins.
    2. Now add the chicken pieces and fry for 10 mins. Add 1 cup water, salt and cook till the chicken is done.
    3. Add the coconut milk, powder masala and curry leaves. Cook for 5 more mins and remove.
    4. Tastes good with dosa, idli and appam.
