Ingredients

  • 3 cups - Watermelon chunks, deseeded
  • 3 cups - muskmelon chunks, deseeded
  • 3 cups - cantaloupe chunks, deseeded
  • 1 tsp - ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - soft Brown sugar
  • 1 cup - thick Cream
  • 1 tbsp - white Vinegar
  • 1 - tiny mild green chilli, chopped finely
  • 1 sprig - Mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper, powdered
  • 1/4 tsp - salt

How to Make Tangy Melon Medley

  • Cook ginger and brown sugar with 2 tbsp water for 2-3 mins.
  • Cool, keep aside till required.
  • Put all melon chunks in a large salad bowl.
  • Pour sweetened ginger over melons, toss lightly and chill.
  • Beat together cream, vinegar, chilli, mint, salt and pepper.
  • Just before serving salad, pour cream mixture over it.
  • Garnish with a few mint leaves.
