How to Make Tangy Tomato Curry

  • Clean and slice the tomatoes and cook for 15 mins. Keep aside.
  • Take oil in a pan add mustard seeds, jeera, methi seeds and urad dal.
  • Then add kadi patta, onion, green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and cook for 2-3 mins under a lid.
  • Now add the cooked tomatoes to the above preparation with sambhar powder, salt, 1 tbsp jaggery and 3 to 4 cups of water. Let it boil for 5 mins.
  • Now the curry is ready. While serving add boondis and coriander. Serve hot with rice.
