  • 2 Onions
  • 5 ripened Tomatoes
  • sprig of Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. of Turmeric powder
  • 2/3 Green chillies
  • 1/4 cup of oil
  • Salt
  • For grinding:
  • 2 tsp aniseed
  • 1.5 tsp Coriander seeds 6 Garlic pods
  • 1 chilli powder
  • How to Make Tangy tomato gravy:

    1. Chop the onion and tomatoes finely. Cut the green chillies lengthwise.
    2. Heat oil in a pan, add the green chillies and saute for a min.
    3. Add the curry leaves, add the chopped onions along with little salt and turmeric powder. Saute them well.
    4. Grind the ingredients listed under that section.
    5. Now add the ground paste and saute until the raw smell is gone.
    6. Finally, add the chopped tomatoes and allow it to cook on a low flame.
    7. This gravy is thick in consistency. If needed you can also add a cup of water and bring it to boil.
