Ingredients

  • Onion - 2
  • Garlic - 3 flakes
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Tomato - 2, small
  • 3 cups - chopped carrot, potato, peas, corn and beans
  • Cream - 2 tbsp
  • Fried paneer - 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

How to Make Tangy Vegetable Kurma

  • Saute onion in the oil till light pink.
  • Add garlic and ginger. Fry till fragrant.
  • Add tomato and saute till pulpy.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt.
  • Add cream and boil till the gravy is yellowish-orange in colour.
  • Steam cook the mixed veg.
  • Add the vegetables to the gravy with salt. Simmer till they blend well.
  • Garnish with fried paneer and serve hot with chapattis.
