Ingredients

  • 1 cup - tapioca (grated)
  • 1/2 cup - peas (fresh/frozen)
  • 1/2 cup - urad dhal
  • 3 - Green chillies (adjust to your taste)
  • 1 inch piece - Ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 cup - coriander (finely chopped)
  • Curry Leaf
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Jeera
  • 1/4 cup grated Coconut

How to Make Tapioca and Peas Bonda

  • Soak urad dhal for 2 hours.
  • Cook peas and keep aside.
  • Grate tapioca.
  • Grind dhal and peas separately.
  • Now, mix ground dhal, peas and grated tapioca.
  • Add salt, coriander and curry leaf to the batter.
  • Then add pepper, jeera and coconut, and mix well.
  • Heat oil and make crispy bondas.
  • Serve hot with chutney.
