Ingredients

  • 1 cup - tapioca (grated)
  • 1/2 cup - peas (fresh/frozen)
  • 1/2 cup - urad dhal
  • 3 - Green chillies (adjust to your taste)
  • 1 inch piece - Ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 cup - coriander (finely chopped)
  • Curry Leaf
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Jeera
  • 1/4 cup grated Coconut
  • How to Make Tapioca and Peas Bonda:

    1. Soak urad dhal for 2 hours.
    2. Cook peas and keep aside.
    3. Grate tapioca.
    4. Grind dhal and peas separately.
    5. Now, mix ground dhal, peas and grated tapioca.
    6. Add salt, coriander and curry leaf to the batter.
    7. Then add pepper, jeera and coconut, and mix well.
    8. Heat oil and make crispy bondas.
    9. Serve hot with chutney.
