Ingredients

  • 100 g - Paneer
  • 1 - green Capsicum
  • 1 - red Capsicum
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped fine
  • 1 - large tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 pinch - Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Tasty Kadai Paneer:

    1. Pre-preparation:
    2. Cut paneer into desired shape (or in long strips).
    3. Chop 1/2 the onion finely and slice remaining half.
    4. Repeat with the tomato.
    5. Slice green and red capsicums.
    6. Method:
    7. Heat oil in heavy pan.
    8. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida.
    9. Stir it.
    10. Add finely chopped onion and stir it until it becomes light brown in colour.
    11. Add finely chopped tomato.
    12. Mix turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, red chilli powder.
    13. Fry it for 3-4 mins.
    14. Add half green and red capsicum.
    15. Cover it and half cook it.
    16. Now add long thin strands of onion, tomato, red and green capsicum and paneer cubes.
    17. Cover it and cook it for 6-7 mins at medium heat.
    18. Sprinkle garam masala.
    19. Garnish it with chopped green coriander leaves before serving.
