  • 2 cups - Cashew nuts
  • 1 cup - powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Silver foil (optional)
  • How to Make Tasty Kaju Barfi:

    1. Soak cashewnuts in water for 2 hours.
    2. Drain and blend the cashews to a fine paste using as little water as possible.
    3. Pour water in a pan and add powdered sugar to make syrup.
    4. Add blended cashew nuts and cook on slow to medium heat.
    5. Cook while stirring continuously till a soft lump is formed.
    6. Add ghee and cardamom powder and mix well.
    7. Pour the mix on to a smooth surface and roll out (thin) quickly with a rolling pin.
    8. Cut into squares/ diamond shapes and let it cool.
