Kulfi or 'Indian Ice Cream', is a frozen dairy dessert popular throughout south Asia for its rich, creamy texture. Because of its density, kulfi takes a longer time to melt than ice cream.

Kulfi is traditionally a slow-cooked dish where sweetened and flavoured milk is evaporated on a slow flame. The milk is continuously stirred until its volume is reduced by a half, thus thickening it, increasing its fat, protein, and lactose density.

In this version, canned evaporated milk is used for a quick Tasty Mango Kulfi. Your kulfi waits for none. Devour it before it melts!

  • Pulp of 2 mangoes
  • Evaporated Milk - 1 can
  • Condensed Milk - 1 can
  • Vanilla Ice Cream - 1 can
  • How to Make Tasty Mango Kulfi:

    1. Mix the ingredients, excluding vanilla ice cream, in a bowl.
    2. Then beat vanilla ice cream into the mixture. Blend it all together very well.
    3. Cover the bowl with foil and refrigerate it.
    4. Just before serving, keep it out for 5 to 10 mins. Serve.
