How to Make Tasty Mixed Vegetable Biryani

  • Wash rice and keep aside.
  • Grind all the ingredients for the masala.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the ground masala with bay leaf.
  • Once the oil separates, add the vegetables.
  • When half-cooked, add salt and turmeric.
  • Add water. Bring to a boil.
  • Add rice and cook on high flame for 3 mins.
  • When water boils again, switch to a low flame.
  • Close lid and cook for 15 mins.
  • Switch of stove and let the rice set for 10 mins.
  • Serve hot with raitha.
