Ingredients

  • 250 g - fresh Green peas
  • 300 g - Paneer
  • 3 - Cloves
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 5 - Cardamom
  • 1 stick - Cinnamon
  • 100 g - chopped Onion
  • 100 g - Tomato
  • 50 g - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 75 g - Curd
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam Masala powder - A pinch
  • Oil for frying
  • 25 g - Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Tasty Mutter Paneer Masala:

    1. Make a puree out of tomato in a blender.
    2. Heat oil in a frying pan and add cumin, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
    3. When they crackle, add chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
    4. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree and stir.
    5. Add the green peas in with some salt and cook for a while. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilli powder.
    6. Beat the curd to a smooth texture, add it in and stir for 2 mins.
    7. Reduce the burner to low and stir the gravy occasionally until it is thick.
    8. Add garam masala powder and close the lid.
    9. Cut the fresh paneer into cubes and fry in oil till golden.
    10. Dip in cold water, squeeze the paneer and add to gravy. Heat through and remove dish from the heat.
    11. Serve hot, sprinkled with fresh coriander leaves.
