  • 1/2 Kg Mutton (desired pieces) but chops used for frying
  • 1/2 Kg Onions cut finely
  • 1/4 Kg Tomatoes cut finely
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsps Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Jeera (whole)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander Leaves
  • For Chops -
  • Garlic crushed - 6-8 flakes
  • Jeera (whole) 2- 4 tsps
  • Black Pepper whole - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of one Lemon
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Kadi Patta 8-10 leaves
  • 1 tsp Mango Powder

How to Make Tasty Mutton and Spicy Chops

  • Put desired oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Saute onions until golden brown, adding mutton pieces next and keep frying until the oil separates.
  • Then add tomatoes cut finely, ginger, garlic paste, and the dry masalas and keep frying till the oil separates.
  • Then add desired water and cook until tender like giving 6-8 whistles in a pressure cooker.
  • When cooked garnish it with coriander leaves and garam masala powder.
  • Mutton is ready to eat with Rice or Rotis.
  • Method for the Chops :
  • Just remove the chops from the gravy.
  • Grind the garlic flakes, whole jeera and black pepper whole to a crushed consistencey.
  • And then in a pan add oil, add mustard seeds to splutter and then add curry leaves and you can add the ground masala to give you a nice aroma of the garlic, jeera and black pepper.
  • Put the cooked chops removed from the gravy and then add red chilli powder, amchur powder, desired salt.
  • Keep frying until the chops gets completely dry and they are coated with the masalas in the pan.
  • Add lime juice over it and some coriander leaves to garnish and serve hot with some onion rings in a plate.
