Ingredients

  • 1 cup - rava
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 2.5 cups - water
  • Kesari (edible yellow colour)
  • 1 cup - Ghee
  • Cashew nuts for garnishing

How to Make Tasty Rava Kesari

  • Roast rava in 1 tsp of ghee till they become slightly brown.
  • Heat water.
  • Add boiling water to rava and stir for about 2 minutes.
  • Mix a pinch of kesari in water and add it to the mixture.
  • Add sugar and keep stirring till it dissolves.
  • Add ghee, little by little, until the mixture stops sticking to the sides of the pan.
  • Roast cashew nuts in ghee and garnish before serving.
