Ingredients

  • 3 raw tomatoes
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 2 tsp mint leaves
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp channa dal
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

How to Make Tasty Tomato Chutney

  • Chop the tomatoes and lightly fry with chillies. Let it cool.
  • Grind this to a paste with salt, mint, coriander leaves and garlic.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, saute some mustard seeds and channa dal.
  • Add the tomato paste and onion to it. Cook for 3 mins.
  • Serve hot or cold.
