  • 3 slices - bread
  • 1 cup - gram flour
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Asafoetida powder
  • oil for frying
  • 1/2 tsp - salt

How to Make Tea Time Snack

  • Mix together gram flour, salt, chilli powder and asafoetida with water to make a loose batter.
  • Trim the bread slices and cut each slice of bread into four pieces.
  • Dip each piece of bread into the batter and deep fry until it is fully cooked.
