Ingredients

  • 3 slices - bread
  • 1 cup - gram flour
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Asafoetida powder
  • oil for frying
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • How to Make Tea Time Snack:

    1. Mix together gram flour, salt, chilli powder and asafoetida with water to make a loose batter.
    2. Trim the bread slices and cut each slice of bread into four pieces.
    3. Dip each piece of bread into the batter and deep fry until it is fully cooked.
