  • 8-10 - Potatoes (medium size)
  • 5-6 tsp - Kasuri Methi
  • 2-3 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - kooti lal mirch (coarse grinded red chilly)
  • 2 tsp -mustard oil
  • 2 tsp -lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Teekha Aloo:

    1. Chop the potatoes.
    2. In a kadai, heat mustard oil.
    3. Add jeera, halved green chillies, the chopped potatoes and stir.
    4. Add salt and stir for 3-4 mins.
    5. Add kasuri methi, cover the lid and cook on medium flame.
    6. After 8-10 mins remove the lid and stir.
    7. When the potatoes are tender, add kooti lal mirch, and the lemon juice.
    8. Serve hot with rotis or paratha.
