Ingredients

  • 180 g - Beef fillet
  • 1 prawn, raw and peeled
  • 20 g - broccoli, small florets, steamed
  • 100 ml - soy sauce
  • 10 g - sesame seeds
  • 40 g - Sugar
  • For Teriyaki sauce:
  • 100 ml - soy sauce
  • 40 g - Sugar
  • 10 g - sesame seeds
  • For tempura batter:
  • 1/2 cup - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1 Egg yolk

How to Make Teriyaki Beef

  • Fry the fillet of beef in a heavy-bottomed frying pan until cooked to medium.
  • Set aside and slice the beef into pieces.
  • Place the other ingredients in a small pot and cook over high heat until sticky.
  • Combine the beef fillet with the broccoli and teriyaki sauce.
  • Garnish with tempura shrimp.
  • To make tempura batter:
  • Combine the ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  • Coat the shrimp with the batter and deep fry.
  • Set aside.
