  • Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp
  • Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chillies - 4 to 5
  • Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • 1 cup each - carrot, onion, drumstick, chow-chow
  • 1 tsp - Tamarind paste
  • Seasoning:
  • Mustard, fenugreek, Curry leaves
  • How to Make Thenga Araicha Kuzhambu:

    1. Roast fenugreek, urad dal and red chillies in a little oil and grind with fresh coconut.
    2. Boil the vegetables in tamarind extract and add salt and a pinch of turmeric powder.
    3. When done, add the ground paste and bring to a boil.
    4. Finally, add the seasoning and serve hot with rice.
