Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - Rajma
  • 1/2 cup -moong dal (green)
  • 1/2 cup -white peas
  • 3 -onion cut into small pieces.
  • 1/2 cup -tomato cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup -tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp -chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp -curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp- Garam Masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp -methi seeds
  • 1/4 tsp- kalongi seeds
  • 1/4 tsp- Saunf
  • 1/2 tbsp -tamarind paste
  • oil
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing.
  • How to Make Three Beans Curry:

    1. Soak the dals separately overnight and cook it the next day.
    2. In a pan heat oil, add saunf and all the seeds.
    3. Once it starts spluttering, fry onions till light brown.
    4. Now add the tomato pieces and fry. Add the cooked dals, the dry powders and fry.
    5. Add tomato puree, tamarind paste, salt and fry until it becomes a thick gravy.
    6. Add a little water if necessary.
    7. Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with pulkas or parathas.
