Ingredients

  • Carrots - 2
  • Baby corn - 4
  • Potatoes - 1
  • Green pepper - 1
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Powdered mint - 1 tsp
  • Cooking oil - 3 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce - 3 tbsp

How to Make Tiranga Delight

  • Peel the carrots. Deseed the capsicum. Chop all the vegetables into small equal sized pieces.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, add the mustard and cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
  • Add a pinch of turmeric powder. Add the chopped vegetables and fry.
  • Add the spices and mix well.
  • Sprinkle water now and then to ensure that the vegetables are properly cooked.
  • After the vegetables are cooked, reduce the flame. Add tomato sauce and stir for just a few minutes more. Serve hot.
