How to Make Tisrya Pulao

  • Wash and soak rice for half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute cloves, cardamoms, bay leaves, cinnamon and Kashmiri chillies.
  • Add green chilli paste and stir for a minute.
  • Fry onions till golden brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add shell fish and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and saute for 10 minutes.
  • Add rice and 2.5 cups of water and cover the pan.
  • Cook till rice is done.
  • Serve hot.
