Ingredients

  • 6 bread slices
  • 1.5 packet - Mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • 125 ml - fresh Cream
  • 6 to 8 Cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 2 Green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - fresh Parsley (finely chopped)
  • 4 cubes - grated cheese
  • salt and pepper as per taste
  • How to Make Toasted Mushrooms:

    1. Wash the mushrooms well and slice.
    2. Lightly heat butter in a sauce pan.
    3. Add the crushed garlic and sautee for few seconds.
    4. Add mushrooms and saute on a medium flame till all the water from the mushrooms evaporates.
    5. Add the cream and cook on a low flame till the cream thickens.
    6. Remove from gas. Add the grated cheese and mix well.
    7. Season with salt, pepper, green chilli and parsley. Mix well.
    8. The mixture should be thick in consistency.
    9. Toast the bread slices.
    10. Spread generous amount of the mushroom mixture on each toast. Serve hot.
