  • Ginger -garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Onions -3
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Tofu - 1 packet
  • Peas - 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder -1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - few sprigs
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Tofu and Peas Curry

  • Saute onions till they become transparent and grind them with tomatoes to a smooth paste.
  • In a heavy bottom kadai, saute peas with little oil till it gets a bright green colour and keep it aside.
  • In the kadai, saute the paste in oil for 5 mins, add the garlic-ginger paste to it. Saute for a while.
  • Add chilli, turmeric, coriander, garam masala and cumin powder and stir for 5 mins.
  • Add water to the mixture and let it boil.
  • Add peas, tofu and salt. Now simmer it till the curry thickens.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
