Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Tofu (grated)
  • 1 cup - Mashed potatoes
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - Capsicum (chopped )
  • 1 tsp - Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to Make Tofu and Potato Bhurji

  • Marinate the grated tofu with red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt.
  • Let them sit for an hour.
  • Heat enough oil, sputter the cumin seeds, add the chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and saute until the onions turns translucent.
  • Now add the chopped capsicum chunks and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add the marinated tofu, mashed potatoes and saute on simmer until everything gets well cooked.
  • Finally add the chopped coriander leaves and enjoy with rice or rotis.
