Ingredients

  • 8 slices - whole wheat bread
  • 4 slices - tofu slices
  • 1 - tomato sliced
  • 1 - medium onion sliced
  • 1 - potato boiled and sliced
  • 12 tbsp - tomato ketchup
  • Salt and black pepper powder
  • For cilantro chutney grind: 2 cups - cilantro chopped
  • 1 - small piece of fresh ginger root
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 3 tbsp - fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 tbsp - brown sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

How to Make Tofu Cilantro Sandwich

  • Lightly toast the bread and wrap them in foil.
  • Make cilantro chutney from given ingredients.
  • Take one slice of bread and apply tomato ketchup about 2/3 tbsp.
  • On another slice apply cilantro chutney.
  • On ketchup slice of bread put tofu slice, tomatoes and onion rings. Lastly place a potato slice and sprinkle with black pepper powder and salt as required.
  • Now cover the slice with cilantro chutney.
  • Cut diagonally and serve.
