Ingredients

  • 1 packet - firm Tofu
  • 2 - bell peppers
  • 2 - Garlic Cloves
  • 4-5 - Red Chillies
  • A pinch - kasuri Methi
  • 1 - Tomato
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp - soy sauce
  • 1 tsp - chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 1 tsp - herbs
  • How to Make Tofu Dish:

    1. Cut tofu into small cubes and add salt, lemon juice, chilli powder, jeera powder, soy sauce, chilli sauce and allow it to marinate for 30 minutes.
    2. Heat a pan and lightly roast the tofu pieces till it forms a crunchy outer layer.
    3. Rub the bell peppers with a little olive oil and roast them in a 350 F oven for 15-20 minutes.
    4. Remove them and add them in a paper bag and allow it to steam up.
    5. After 5 minutes, remove them and peel the skin.
    6. Don't wash them under water.
    7. In a mixer, grind the roasted peppers, garlic, red chillies, kasuri methi and tomato into a fine paste.
    8. In a wok, heat some oil (olive or vegetable) and add the paste to it. Cook for 2-3 minutes, add the tofu pieces to it and allow it to simmer for 4-5 minutes.
    9. Season with fresh herbs of your choice and serve it hot with parathas or plain noodles.
