  • To Marinate:
  • 1 cup - Extra firm Tofu cubes
  • 1 tsp - Dark soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup - Corn flour
  • Salt (if needed)
  • Water
  • Oil for Deep Frying
  • For Manchurian:
  • 1 cup - Red and Green bell peppers (chopped)
  • 1 - Onion, Chopped
  • 3 - Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp - Light soya sauce
  • 1 tsp - Green chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp - Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp - White vinegar
  • 2 tbsp - Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp - Garlic chives or green onions (chopped)
  • Salt (if needed)

How to Make Tofu Manchurian

  • Mix everything all the ingredients except the oil under the list to marinate.
  • Keep aside for an hour and Deep Fried the marinated tofu cubes until they turn brown.
  • Heat the sesame oil and add the chopped onion with minced garlic cloves. Stir for a few minutes.
  • Add the bell peppers with light soya sauce, green chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and white vinegar.
  • Toss everything for a few minutes or until the oil get separated. Add salt if needed.
  • Add the deep fried tofus and mix well.
  • Finally add the garlic, chives pieces and green onions and serve.
