Ingredients

  • 1 cup - small cubed Tofu
  • 3 - eggs
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Parsley
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • For Peanut sauce:
  • 1/2 cup - Peanut
  • 2 tsp - soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp -fish sauce
  • 2 tsp - chilli sauce
  • 1/3 cup - unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • Peanut oil for deep frying

How to Make Tofu Omelette

  • For peanut sauce: Deep fry the peanuts in smoked peanut oil till golden brown (approx 3-4 minutes). Drain.
  • Grind the peanuts with 1 tbsp peanut oil.
  • Add all the ingredients and blend till smooth.
  • Add more oil if sauce is thick.
  • For omelette:
  • Beat eggs with salt.
  • Fold in tofu and other ingredients except oil.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
  • Pour half of mixture.
  • Spread over the pan.
  • Cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Slide it into plate.
  • Repeat for remaining mixture.
  • Spread peanut sauce over the omelettes.
  • Serve hot.
