Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg firm tofu, drained
  • 4 small potatoes, boiled and peeled
  • 2 sweet potatoes, boiled and peeled
  • 1/4 cup boiled peas
  • 1/2 cup grated Carrots
  • 1 cup sprouts
  • 4 eggs, hardboiled and sliced
  • 1 red onion, chopped finely
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped Celery
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil1/4 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds powder
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder (chaat masala)
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Tofu Salad

  • Cut tofu into 1" squares, 1/2" thick
  • Fry in oil over medium heat until golden brown and Drain
  • Chop potatoes and sweet potatoes (approx. 1" pieces)
  • Mix together tofu, potatoes, egg slices, sprouts peas and onion
  • Toss it with mix powder
  • Add mayonnaise
  • Sprinkle celery leaves and lemon juice
  • Finally garnish with grated carrots
  • Serve after tossing it lightly
