Ingredients

  • 4 - tomatoes large
  • 4 - onions
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • salt
  • coriander leaves for garnishing
  • 1 tsp - oil

How to Make Tomato - Onion Vegetable

  • Chop the onions, tomatoes and green chillies finely.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  • Add the chopped onions and saute till it turns golden brown.
  • Add the green chillies and fry some more.
  • Add the tomatoes and cook for a minute.
  • Add 1 cup of water and cook well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapattis.
