  • 1/2 kg - Fresh Gherkins (tindas), cut into medium pieces
  • 2 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 - Large Onion sliced
  • 2 tsp - Chilly powder
  • 2 - Green chillies, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp - Chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 2- Large tomatoes, chopped
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Tomato And Gherkins Side Dish:

    1. Heat oil in a pan saute the cumin seeds, onion, green chillies and garlic until the onions turn pink.
    2. Add the cut gherkins, chilly powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well.
    3. Fry for 4-5 minutes.
    4. Now add the tomato and cook until the gherkins are tender.
    5. Serve hot as a side dish with rice or chapattis.
