Ingredients

  • Tomato, quartered - 1 kg
  • Mint, chopped - 1 cup
  • Carrot, peeled and coarsely chopped - 1
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Peppercorns - 6
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Bay Leaves - 3
  • Cloves garlic, bruised - 2
  • Water (approx.) - 1 lt
  • Salt to taste
  • Mint leaves to garnish
  • How to Make Tomato and Mint Shorba:

    1. Boil all the ingredients on low heat for approximately 30 mins.
    2. Mash with a ladle and strain.
    3. Boil once again till you get the desired consistency.
    4. Correct seasoning and garnish with a few mint leaves.
