  • 2 tbsp - holy Basil (tulsi)
  • 2 - medium sized ripe, Tomatoes
  • 1 - Carrot
  • 2 inch - Cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 375 ml - water
  • Almond creamer:
  • 10 - soaked Almonds
  • 1 tsp - Basil
  • A few tbsp - water
  • How to Make Tomato basil soup (healthy soup):

    1. Pressure cook the tomatoes, carrot and cinnamon with water and salt for 2 whistles.
    2. Cool the vegetables, blend them and strain to remove the skin and seeds of tomatoes
    3. Add basil and pepper to the puree and bring this to a boil and switch off the flame. Set aside
    4. Blend the almonds and basil with little water to get a thick cream.
    5. Pour the almond cream into the bowl of soup
